Information for Parents, Carers & Young People

The dedicated Junior Section on our website contains lots of useful information for individuals under 18 years who are keen to get involved in hockey with Bromsgrove Hockey Club. You'll find answers to almost every query in one of the following pages: 'Training times for Juniors', 'BHC Junior Pathway' or 'Playing Competitive Hockey'.

If you are new to the club and wish to sign up your child for one of our activities, please follow our Getting Started instructions.

Then our page 'Volunteering with our Junior Academy' includes details for young people participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Award and opportunities we have for completing your Volunteer or Skill requirements. Information is also provided for any parents looking to take on a more active role with the club and provide volunteer support.

For anything you're unsure about relating to Junior participation, please reach out to our New Player Officer Anna, in the first instance who will be able to provide further assistance. Email Anna at newjunior@bromsgrovehockey.org.uk

Once you're registered, the preferred contact method for any officer, age-group manager or organizer is through our club management and messaging system Pitchero. You can find out more about how Pitchero works here.

Registering Your Feedback

We welcome feedback at any time on what we are doing well or areas that could be improved.

Once a year we send out a Survey to all members, which gives players and parents/carers the opportunity to have their say.

You can also direct feedback to your Junior Age-Group Manager or any of our club officers.

We would also like to draw your attention to our Documents Section which details comprehensive Safeguarding and Welfare Information, as well as our Complaints Procedure.

Any concerns or complaints relating to any member or representative of the club can be sent in confidence to our Safeguarding & Welfare Officer Kate Cox at welfareofficerbhc@gmail.com.
